LESPI Advisor Bayer Lee will present “Warriors Seweckenamo and Kimlau: From Lenape Village to Chinatown,” on Sunday, May 4, at 1:00 pm. This tour will trace the area’s rich history from the time it was a Native American village to the present day, as represented by Kimlau Square with its landmarked arch and statue of Chinese philosopher Lin Zexu (1785-1850).

13th Anniversary: Remembering Pvt. Danny Chen


In 2011, Pvt. Chen was found dead in Afghanistan after weeks of hazing and racial harassment by his superiors. When he enlisted, Danny did not know about the racism and culture of hazing in the military. This year, we commemorate Danny’s legacy and tell his story in advocating for freedom to choose, privacy, transparency, and accountability.

The Blu Room is a one-man multilingual, multicultural theatrical act presented in a late-night talk show format. Combining elements of comedy, music, cultural references, and current events, Rob Chen aims to create a safe space for the AAPI community to heal and celebrate their heritage and identity during a time of distress.
